Professional Acting by Kitty Fernandez
At the tender age of 8, Kitty never missed a chance to climb up onto a step stool in her mother’s booth to reach the microphone. Kitty had an undeniable desire to communicate and make people laugh. Early on, agents told Kitty’s Mom that the child was very directable, funny and a pleasure to work with. Kitty was soon hired by companies like the NBA, The Girl Scouts, Nature’s Own Bread, and LAI Games, among others. They have worked on long term e-learning projects aimed at teaching English to Chinese youth. At 15, Kitty’s first theatrical lead role, ‘The Wicked Witch of The West’ led to a love of the theater. Kitty has studied improv, voice, and dance classes; ballet, acrobatics, hip hop, and tap. Kitty also did gymnastics throughout grade school.
During the pandemic, there were no open theaters, but Kitty found a way to express themselves through Online Cosplay and songwriting. Kitty’s quarantine creative outlet was perfecting their ‘Disney Villain’ inspired makeup. They made short videos and posted them often. Post-pandemic, Kitty shows up at events such as conferences and parties in full costume. They have done characters such as Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice), Wanda Maximoff (Marvel), Mirabel Madrigal (Encanto), Max Mayfield (Stranger Things), Cat Noir/Adrien Agreste (Miraculous), and Eddie Munson (Stranger Things). Although they have fallen in love with the art of cosplaying, stage acting is where their heart mostly resides. From the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz, to Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family, and Grandma Rosie in The Wedding Singer, they have gained recognition for their versatility on the stage.
Kitty Fernandez specializes in voice overs for commercials, video games, and E-learning.
Kitty’s goal is to pursue stage and on-camera acting as well as continue their career in voiceover.
